The most beautiful dive sites in Europe
All dive sites are less than 15 minutes away by boat.
The seabed of the island is similar to that of the land due to its volcanic origin. This part of the Atlantic Ocean is full of lava formations, caves and tunnels as well as vast expanses of sand. The Marine Reserve provides abundant shelter for animals.
El Hierro is unique because its waters contain a mixture of Atlantic and subtropical species. So you can encounter lobsters and corals as well as parrot fish and schools of tuna.... Many rays can be found here, such as black rays, eagle rays, butterfly rays, mobulas and manta rays. There are also some sharks, such as angel sharks, blue sharks and mako sharks in the high seas, but especially the famous fierce shark that emerges from the ocean depths during the summer.
The Canaries are also famous for the presence of numerous species of cetaceans, such as bottlenose dolphins, tursiopes, bottlenose dolphins, pilot whales, humpback whales and even blue whales.
The dive starts in a flat area that becomes steeper as you move further away from the shore.
This dive consists of two near shore columns. The furthest is at 10 metres and the deepest at over 40 metres.
This dive presents probably the most typical underwater landscape of the region, with caves and faults.
The Mar de las Calmas, sheltered from the prevailing winds, is a marine biosphere reserve where you can enjoy calm waters and underwater landscapes all year round in temperate waters.

Quiet and fun diving for all levels, next to the natural pool of Tacorón.
The last buoy of the marine reserve, the dive starts close to the shore on a rocky bottom that slides down to a sandy plateau full of garden eels, the largest in Europe (11 km!).
It is a very interesting place because of its spectacular relief, with a magnificent arch at 40 m, covered with black coral and abundant fauna.
This dive takes place along the rocky cliff face. It is a popular spot for divers and hikers alike.
